I think the witch at the top is really scary. The one third from the top is nice and there is a realy nice diagonal between through the pointing arm and the cape where you could put the name of the school.
lots you could do with a witch. maybe do something less obvious....not sure how, but a witch is a witch i guess. type? name of school?
i would play with the idea of the flying witch because that would lend to being a better logo i think. Then just come up with some snazzy writing
